Charlotte is a coworker of mine and a little while ago she was telling me about her daughter, Brayden. She was saying how her adorable three-year-old was growing up so fast and she wanted to capture these moments now before time speeds forward even faster.
So of course I offered to be the moment capturer (I should totally add that to my resume). Last Saturday morning the two of them met me in Whitefield Square and we just started playing.
First of all, I just want to point out how freaking adorable these two are. They just bounce around together looking beautiful. I really can’t put into words some of the emotion in some of these photos.
For instance, one of my absolute favorites from that day is one where Charlotte is looking at Brayden, who is looking down (first photo below). Both of them are making the exact same face. It is such a precious mother daughter photo. They both look so peaceful and solemn. Which is funny because most of my photos of them had me cracking up! Once I made the photo black and white I just had one of those moments where I thought, ‘Wow. That’s one for the books.’
Although it is hard to pick just a handful (or three) of photos from that day, here is a selection that I painfully narrowed down to share with all of you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do…even though I don’t think that’s possible.
To Charlotte, thank you for letting me share the day with you and Brayden and for taking Sam and I to brunch. I loved photographing you and Brayden and I hope these photos help you to look back and reflect on such a special day in 5…10…and even 50 years from now.
Thanks for reading & stay beautiful!
